    The Law Changed

    Starting August 17th, 2024, you’ll need a written agreement to tour real estate in California, detailing your agent’s payment and possible commitments. Options include a Touring Agreement (minimal commitment), a Non-Exclusive Agency Agreement, and an Exclusive Agency Agreement. Remember, no agreement is required for open houses!

    Apply for a Rental Property

    Identification: A valid government-issued ID (driver’s license or passport).

    Proof of Income: Recent pay stubs, tax returns, or employment verification.

    Proof of Funds: Bank statements showing funds for the first month’s rent and security deposit.

    ESA/ADA Letter: If applicable, a letter from a licensed mental health professional verifying the need for an emotional support or service animal.
