My Health Journey: From Pain to Purpose
Back in 2014 and 2017, I faced serious internal bleeding and complications stemming from Steven-Johnson Syndrome — something I battled since childhood. It was scary. But those moments forced me to slow down, reflect, and build my life with intention.
During that time, one incredible blessing walked into my life: Jane Rose, my German Shepherd. She's more than a pet — she’s my ADA-cleared service dog who supports me daily, alerting me when I’m overstressed or overstimulated. She reminds me to breathe, reset, and take care of myself — and clients love her more than me half the time.
The Man Who Raised Me: My Dad
My father, David Richards, was a scout sniper and SWAT officer who served in law enforcement for over 30 years. He fought cancer multiple times — and never gave up. He taught me how to lead with integrity, stay strong in adversity, and believe in building something bigger than myself.
He was the reason I pursued real estate. He saw something in me — a mix of hustle, heart, and resilience — and he pushed me to go all in. Every deal I close, every family I help — it’s because he believed in me first.
Real Estate: My Engine for Impact
Before real estate, I designed Ferraris for billionaires and high-end collectors. That job taught me precision, luxury service, and how to build elite trust. But I wanted something more lasting — something where I could help everyday families build wealth and find home.
Real estate became that engine. It’s where purpose meets payoff — where I get to guide clients through the most meaningful purchases of their lives. And yes, it’s also how I plan to fund the crazy dream car collection I’ve wanted since I was a kid.
Grounded by Faith, Family & Fitness
I believe in God. I believe in family. And I believe in hard work.
-
Faith grounds me through every season — the wins and the losses.
-
Family has been my foundation through every storm.
-
Fitness keeps my mind sharp and spirit steady. Whether I’m in the gym, hiking with Jane Rose, snowboarding in the mountains, or paddling out to surf, movement reminds me I’m alive and capable.
What I’m Thankful For Right Now
Here’s what I don’t take for granted:
-
My health and second chances
-
A career where I serve people, not just sell to them
-
Jane Rose — my teammate, emotional compass, and office superstar
-
The legacy of my dad and the lessons he left me
-
Every client who trusts me with their future
-
The faith that keeps me anchored through it all
Final Thoughts: Gratitude Is My Competitive Edge
This life? It’s a gift. The highs, the lows — they’ve shaped how I show up for others. I’m not just here to sell homes. I’m here to build relationships, protect generational wealth, and help people move into spaces that reflect where they’re going next.
So this season, I’m not just thankful. I’m motivated. Let’s keep building something worth being proud of — together.
If you’re looking for someone who’s been through real-life challenges and still shows up with purpose and grit — I’d love to connect. Whether you're buying, selling, or just planning for the future — let’s chat.
